Sofuoglu claims his 19th career Pole in Portugal

Kenan Sofuoglu of Mahi Racing Team India Kawasaki has grabbed the pole position in the final ten minutes of Saturday’s qualifying session of the World Supersports Championship at Portimao in Portugal despite a late charge from series leader Michael van der Mark who will start 2nd.

Sofuoglu has just won one race so far this season and currently is 6th in the championship 68points behind championship leader.
