Mahi Racing Team India´s Kenan Sofuoglu wins last lap thriller in Silverstone 

Turkish rider and reigning champion Kenan Sofuoglu of Mahi Racing Team India Kawasaki wins a thrilling race at Silverstone, UK after overcoming tough challenge from Sam Lowes of Yamaha. 

Sofuoglu and championship leader Lowes pulled away from the rest of the field and were battling for the lead for the entire race until the fight became more serious on the last lap. Both riders were swapping places but a Turn 14 incident saw Lowes on the ground and Sofuoglu crossed the line victorious. Lowes was able to rejoin and finished 2nd thanks to the enormous lead while Mahi Racing´s second rider Fabien Foret grabbed a fanatastic podium on the final moments from Kev Coghlan (DMC Lorenzini Kawasaki) and ParkinGo MV Agusta Corse duo of Christian Iddon and Roberto Rolf.

Mahi Racing´s Kenan trails leader Sam Lowes by 29points in the championship with 6 more rounds to go while Fabien is another 30points.

The next round will be in Nurburgring in Germany on September 1st 2013.
