Romain Grosjean tops Practice 3 in Australia under wet and tricky conditions

Romain Grosjean of Lotus emerged on top at the end of Final Practice session ahead of the Australian Grand Prix qualifying as the weather played a spoil sport. The rain fell earlier in the day and the initial runners were able to clock their the time while the track was dry. The rain fell again during the 3rd Practice session made things worse.

Handful of drivers like Grosjean, Alonso, Massa and DiResta made their times while the track was dry while others got couldnt make enough as the rain fell down and the worst affected were the RedBulls, Mercedes, McLarens and the Williams. Mid session was with full wets yet few experimented with the intermediates as the rain eased towards the end of the session.

Hamilton came out when the rain started to pour and Vettel was asked to stop the car with suspected hydraulic failures.
