Vettel victorious in Singapore while Hamilton retires

Sebastian Vettel reigned victorious in Singapore after starting from pole and was virtually unchallenged even by the Mercedes pair. Daniel Ricciardo finished 2nd with Kimi Raikkonen taking a double podium for Ferrari while world championship leader Hamilton retired with power failure issues.

Vettel dominated the race right from the start and managed the pace well and good like his domination years between 2010-2013.

There was safety car period as Force India driver Nico Hulkenberg crash onto Massa on the Williams while exiting the pits in a bizzare manner. 

On the restart Ricciardo wasnt able to close up on Vettel and the Ferrari driver pulled a cushion over his ex-team mate. The Mercedes showed no threat and was suffering in the street circuit much to the surprise of everyone. 

Hamilton was almost a second off pace from Vettel and was running 4th but his trye strategy looked promising to give a fighting chance with the leaders later in the race but suddenly Hamilton dropped pace and had to retire due to power failure issues with the Mercedes. 

Nico Rosberg took advantage of Hamiltons failure and grabbed 4th place gaining 10 points on his deficit on the championship lead.
