Michael Schumacher out of coma and leaves hospital
The 7 time F1 World Champion, Michael Schumacher was in an induced coma at Grenoble Hospital in France after a severe head injury while in skiing in a resort last December is finally discharged as he is out of coma, says an official statement.
Michael began the waking up process in late January and the following months showing slight reactions and the process was kept away from the media eye as per the medical team´s request.
Few hours ago, Michael´s manager Sabine Kehm issued an official statement that the racer is out of coma and has left the Grenoble Hospital to begin a long rehabilitation program away from the public eye.
No other details on the condition of the racer has been released and the family thanked everyone for their support including the fans, doctors, nurses and therapists in Grenoble, first aid team who helped Michael to recover.
It is believed Michael will be away from the public eye and will begin his long rehabilitation based on the condition he is in.

´Michael has left the CHU Grenoble to continue his long phase of rehabilitation. He is not in a coma anymore. His family would like to explicitly thank all his treating doctors, nurses and therapists in Grenoble as well as the first aiders at the place of the accident, who did an excellent job in those first months. The family also wishes to thank all the people who have sent Michael all the many good wishes to Michael. We are sure it helped him. For the future we ask for understanding that his further rehabilitation will take place away from the public eye.´
