Hamilton dominates Mercedes 1–2 at Malaysian Grand Prix
Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) dominated Malaysian Grand Prix right from start to finish and clocking the fastest lap of the race grabbing his´s 23rd career win and first in Malaysia after a mechanical failure in Australia.
Team mate Nico Rosberg finished second managing to nudge past Vettel´s Redbull at the start and held onto his position till the end making a historic first 1–2 for Mercedes team since the Italian Grand Prix in 1955,
World Champion Sebastian Vettel (RedBull)finished 3rd and salvaged some points after retiring Australia while drama still continued for his new team mate Daniel Ricciardo as he was again complained for inappropriate use of fuel mixture during the race and then spoiling the race with an unsafe release during a pitstop and eventually losing his front wing plus gaining a penalty and ultimately retiring in the pits.
Ferrari´s Fernando Alonso managed fourth while team mate Raikkone´s race was spoiled at the early laps by McLaren´s Magnussen who clipped the rear wheel of the Ferrari causing an instant puncture. Magnussen was penalized.
Force India´s Hulkenberg managed a solid 5th with a 2 stop strategy while his team mate Perez did not start the race.
McLaren´s Jenson Button finished 6th ahead of Willams pair Massa and Bottas in 7th and 8th with Magnussen in 9th.
Rookie Danil Kyvat (Torro Rosso) grabbed the final point in 10th while his team mate Verge retired in the pits.
Lotus driver Romain Grosjean finished 11th holding off former team mate Kimi Raikkonen (Ferrari)in 12th.
Caterham driver Kobayashi and Ericsson finished 13th and 14th while Marussia driver Max Chilton is the last finisher in 15th.
