Dark Don continues domination

Coimbatore, July 21st 2013: Dark Don Racing continued its dominant run in the 2013 JK Tyre Racing Championship by winning the Race 3 of the LGB Formula 4 class on Sunday. It was Coimbatore racer Sarosh Hataria who once again led the charge for the Chennai–based team´s second victory of the weekend.

Dark Don had a strong presence in the top–six as Ajay Kini, Advait Deodhar and Kartik Krishna finished fourth, fifth and sixth respectively. Sarosh, who started fourth on the grid, stormed to take the lead in the fouth lap and there was no looking back for the experienced driver since then. Only a safety car period managed to narrow the gap towards the end, but Sarosh coolly raced ahead again when the race resumed foollowing safety car´s entry into the pits.

Sarosh´s back–to–back wins powerd Dark Don to top spot in the championship standings. Sarosh, who leads the drivers´ standings, commented: "My drive at this weekend was confirmed only at the eleventh hour. I have to thank my team Dark Don for providing a superb car to compete. It turnd out to be a great weekend and I am looking forward to continue my good form."

Team principal Afsar Riyaz E was delighted with team´s fantastic start to its JKTRC campaign. "Ajay Kini who took pole position was bit unlucky. He was penalised for a collision with Sarosh after winning the Race 1, otherwise we would have made a clean sweep by winning all the three races. However, we proved that Dark Don was the fastest car on the track. All the team members worked really hard to achieve this. The revelation of this weekend is Advait Deodhar who has been with us since 2012. He finished a creditable fifth in the Race 3 after starting last on the grid ," said Afsar.
