Armaan Ebrahim has confirmed his participation in the Formula 2 World Championships for 2011 for the 3rd year in a row. He ended the 2010 season on a high with a maiden podium on the last round in Valencia and finished 10th in the championship.
Armaan finished in the points in all races except one and was hit by few mishaps in some rounds which dropped him from 6th in the overall standings to 10th.
Armaan also tested for couple of GP2 teams in Abu Dhabi in November 2010 and was also offered a seat but had to settle for F2 due to the lack of heavy funds that is needed for a GP2 drive. He is currently supported by JK Tyre and Amaron
"I am really happy to be returning to F2 in 2011. There are some legendary circuits on the calendar this year and my confidence is high following last year, so I can' wait for the season to begin.
"With Formula One coming to India this year, interest is at an all-time high and if I can do a good job, it will hopefully help me in the future," Armaan said.
