Marquez is super strong in Austin
Marquez leads Honda trio while Yamaha suffers rear grip in Austin Friday Practice
Super Rookie Marc Marquez yet again showed his superiority at the Austin circuit by topping both practice sessions on Friday ahead much experienced of team mate Dani Pedrosa while the Yamahas of Lorenzo and Rossi were suffering due to lack of rear grip.
Marquez already dominated winter testing in Austin earlier in March with his immaculate speed and quick adaptation to the new circuit beating team mate Pedrosa and the Yamaha duo.
The circuit of the Americas in Texas, designed for the F1 with lots of slow hairpins and stop and go 1st gear corners naturally suits the Honda machines while the Yamaha riders were unable to match their rivals in this layout.
With Marquez so strong in this new circuit and much stronger than his experienced team mate and with the Yamahas of Lorenzo and Rossi way down, it may well be Marquez´s first victory in MotoGP if everything goes right for this super talented rookie. Will Marquez win in Austin? Lets wait and watch.
