Mahaveer Raghunathan grabs double podium in AutoGP debut
18 year old Chennai lad Mahaveer Raghnunathan grabbed double podium at the inaugural event of AutoGP 2016 at Adria Circuit in Italy.
The Indian driver finished 2nd in Race 1 but finished a lap down on race winner Michael Dörrbecker while he finished 3rd in Race 2 behind Michael Dörrbecker and Sa Silva.
With double podium Mahaveer is second in the championship standing with 33 points while Dörrbecker is leading the table with 53 points.
Mahaveer is racing for PS Racing Team in AutoGP and is also planning to race in the GP3 Series this year.
It has to be noted that the AutoGP field consists of only 7 drivers and only 6 finished in both races.
