Sarath Kumar debut in ARRC 600SS was aborted due to aggravation of knee injury from last month
The much anticipated debut of Sarath Kumar in the Asian Road Racing Championship 600SS was aborted due to his knee injury which aggravated in the Qualifying session and was declared unfit to race by the Medic.
He is expected to race in the next round in Suzuka, Japan after some accelerated recovery program.
Sarath Kumar tweeted "For those of you who thought why I was not there on the starting grid. My knee injury from last month motocross crash aggravated this morning and I could not ride the bike in qualifying and after further medical examination I was declared unfit for the race. I will have to go into an accelerated recovery mode before Suzuka and I hope to be in 100% fitness by Round 3 of ARRC in Suzuka, Japan. Thank you all for your support and wishes"
