The organizers have stepped up to keep up with increasing cries for improvement in the National level competition which is under international media scanner.

This year FMSCI have made some changes to the regulations to improve competition and JK Tyre, who are the primary sponsor for the National Championships have made the event much more upgraded. The main changes for 2011 was they have dropped the bigger Formula Rolon Chevrolet, pepped up the Formula LGB Swift with reduced weight and body upgrades and introduction of reverse grid formats for all categories.

The total outlook of the event is improved with amenities like a comfortable media lounge & press conference room, portable restrooms, medical car and live race timing on the web and more.

This year the FOrmula LGB swift has 12 new cars and a total of 55 entries in the Indian Touring Cars – Super Saloon & Junior Saloon categories which is a huge leap.

Volkswagen Motorsport's renamed Polo R Cup which runs alonside the JKNRRC carried the same excitement as last year. VW's big buck corporate presence was an overall highlight with their colorful list of corporate sponsors, huge trucks, strong line up cars and sophisticated equipments taking the sport to an international level. The list of particpants hailing from all parts the country gave it a proper national exposure. 23 strong grid with 10 drivers from last year and 13 new entrants, the new Polo R cup is surely a series to be watched and again with an improved car.

On the whole the National racing events are growing to international standards and will surely be spectacular to watch.
