Lewis Hamilton claims home pole for British Grand Prix

Reigning World Champion Lewis Hamilton claimed pole for his home grand prix at Silverstone beating his Mercedes team mate Nico Rosberg by one hunredth of a second.

Willams drivers Massa and Bottas covered the 2nd row while Ferrari drivers Raikkonen and Vettel completed row 3.

Force India drivers Hulkenberg will start on 9th while his team mate Perez will start 11th.

Alonso and Button have qualified 17th and 18th in their struggling McLaren.
