BANGALORE BOY YASH ARADHYANOMINATED TO REPRESENT INDIA FOR THE GLOBAL COMPETITION

The 13 year old Bangalore boy Yash Aradhya, studying in class VI at the Bishop Cottons Boys School Bangalore has been Nominated to represent India for the Global Competition at the CIK FIA ACADEMY TROPHY 2015 being conducted across Europe, which draws the best talent from across 50 countries to race and win the championship trophy.

In order to create a platform at the world level for the budding motorsport enthusiasts, the CIK (Commission Internationale De Karting) and FIA (Federation Internationale De l’Automabile) conducts CIK–FIA Karting Academy Trophy being the only global competition of its kind, the Academy Trophy has proved its worth by revealing talents who later reached the highest levels of karting before succeeding significantly in cars. With a maximum of 50 nationalities and an entry reserved for a female driver selected by the FIA Women in Motorsport at a subsidized cost, this is the best platform any budding Karter can ever get.

The FMSCI (Federation of Motorsports Clubs of India) Karting Commission headed by its Chairman, Sajeev Mathew and its Commission members Nominated Yashto represent India as he fits the age criteria and by virtue of winning the JK Tyre FMSCI National Rotax Max Championship India 2014.

The three Competitions of the 2015 calendar will take place alongside the CIK–FIA European and World Championships for KZ and will enjoy the ambiance of the prestigious meetings alongside the world´s greatest drivers. The first Competition will take place from 22th to 25th June 2015 at Zuera (ESP). The second Competition will take place at Genk (BEL) from 10th to 12th July and the last on September 11th to 13th at Le Mans (FRA).

On being nominated, a cool, composed Yash was humble and said: “I would say that this year has been the best year in my life that came with a great team effort, Akbar Ebrahim Uncle’s mentoring, team Meco Racing support and my hard work paid off. This nomination is really very special and I could not believe when my father told me about it. Now that this oppurtinity has come, I am work very hard to put in all my best effort and bring laurels. I would like to thank my parents, my sponsors Aqua guard for putting their faith and trust on me.”
